THE FANTASIA AT CHEZ ALI

The Fantasia, also known as Tbourida in Morocco has deep historical roots in Morocco, dating back to the days when horsemen were trained for war. Today, it has become a form of cultural expression, celebrating the country's equestrian heritage.

It is a traditional equestrian demonstration featuring riders mounted on horses, dressed in traditional costumes and armed with rifles. Riders advance in line, performing synchronized maneuvers and engaging in simultaneous charges that date back centuries. Riders typically carry rifles loaded with blank powder but without live ammunition. During the performance, they shoot into the air in synchronization, creating an impressive sound and visual spectacle.
